He was born at Ankara in 1965. He was graduated from “T.E.D. Ankara College” in 1983 and from “Ankara University Faculty of Medicine” in 1990. He started his doctorate in “Hacettepe Medical Faculty, Department of Anatomy” in 1991 and gave his thesis about examination of joint space by Magnetic Resonance Imaging in anatomically normal knees in 1994. After his military service, he was attended as assistant professor at “Hacettepe Medical Faculty, Department of Anatomy” in 1996. He received his associate professor title in 1999. He has been working in the same department as professor since March 2005. He has more than 85 publications and more than 200 citations in indexed scientific journals. His scientific fields of interest are gross anatomy, ultrastructural examination of nervous tissue in traumas, electron microscopy of biologic materials and radiological anatomy. He has one international and 6 national scientific award.
